“Put the coasters back!” You might find yourself adapting this legendary phrase once your guests fall in love with these elegant coasters that protect wooden and glass surfaces from liquids and thermal shocks. The design was created by Petr Novague, who played with angles and infused an ordinary object with extraordinary playfulness. Unlike traditional coasters, ours don’t need a holder — when not in use, you can arrange them on the table into a small cubist sculpture.
We even reflected this feature in their name. We noticed that when you pronounce the Czech word podtácek, it often drops the letter “D” — and so Potácek was born. These coasters protect your table from rings left by wet glasses or mugs. The circles may appear on the Coaster itself, but your table will remain perfectly protected.
